Hi, I'm KJ !

Hi, I'm KJ !

A little about me

My name’s Khadeeja, but I go by KJ. I’ve been drawn to art and design for as long as I can remember—sketching everything I saw as a kid and getting completely hooked on video games & anime. In high school, I joined the journalism club and helped design the yearbook, which sparked my love for layout, storytelling, and communicating visually. That early love for visual storytelling naturally led me to study animation at Arizona State University, where I earned my degree in 2022.

These days, you'll find me scribbling wireframes for new personal projects, sculpting on ZBrush, or explaining why horror genre is scarier than real life (my attempt into convincing my friends to entertain my plans). I’m big on small creative rituals—keeps my brain buzzing and my hands busy.

What drives my creative work:
🧠 Curiosity
🛠 Thoughtful design
🐾 Collaboration
☕ And a strong cup of coffee

3D Modeling / Digital Sculpting

This is where I play in the digital space. Personal fun fact, Dishonored (yes, the game) is what solidified for me that I want to do character 3D modeling.

Illustration/ Sketches

This is where creativity feels light and instinctive. Sketching and figure drawing help me shake off perfectionism my favorite way to get loose and let ideas flow.

Pottery/ Sculptures

Pottery started as a way to create without being glued to a screen, but it quickly became one of my favorite ways to relax and reconnect with myself. There’s something grounding about getting your hands dirty and focusing on form, posture, and presence.
